PM Modi to Launch Major Development Projects in Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Visakhapatnam on January 8, 2025, to lay the foundation for several key development projects in Andhra Pradesh. These projects, worth over Rs 2 lakh crore, include the establishment of a Green Hydrogen Hub, a Bulk Drug Park, and the Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub.

The Green Hydrogen Hub is part of a larger plan to establish 20 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity and green hydrogen production facilities by 2027. This initiative aligns with India's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to cleaner energy sources.

The Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub, a Rs 1,518 crore project, will be developed on a 2,500-acre land parcel in its first phase. This hub is expected to boost industrial growth, create employment opportunities, and attract investments to the region.
