CM Chandrababu Naidu Revives Amaravati Development Plans, Focuses on Guntur Connectivity

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced the revival of the Amaravati capital city project, emphasizing its development as a model state capital. The project, which was initially envisioned as a greenfield development between Vijayawada and Guntur, aims to transform Amaravati into a hub of urban development and national pride.
Naidu has pledged to invest ₹50,000 crore in the revival of Amaravati, ensuring seamless connectivity to Guntur. The project, which was stalled during the previous government, is now back on track with a renewed focus on infrastructure, real estate, and technological advancements.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of Amaravati as a future benchmark for urban development in India. He urged officials to accelerate the completion of key projects, including the Vijayawada metro rail, which spans 38 km with an outlay of ₹11,000 crore.
