Andhra Pradesh Signs MoU to Strengthen Organic Agriculture Ecosystem

In a significant move towards promoting sustainable farming, the Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the organic agriculture ecosystem. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who emphasized the importance of organic farming in ensuring food security and environmental sustainability.

The MoU aims to provide farmers with the necessary resources and training to transition to organic farming practices. This initiative is expected to boost the state's agricultural output while reducing the reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, thereby promoting a healthier environment.

The state government has also announced plans to establish organic farming clusters across Andhra Pradesh, which will serve as models for other regions. This move aligns with the government's broader vision of making Andhra Pradesh a leader in sustainable agriculture.
