Andhra Pradesh Approves Rs 2,723 Crore for Amaravati Development Projects

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved two significant engineering projects worth Rs 2,723 crore aimed at boosting the development of Amaravati, the state's capital region. The projects include the construction of new infrastructure and the revival of stalled initiatives, signaling a renewed focus on urban development and economic growth.

The decision comes as part of the state government's efforts to accelerate the development of Amaravati, which has faced delays and controversies in recent years. The approved projects are expected to create jobs, improve connectivity, and enhance the overall infrastructure of the region.

In addition to these projects, the state government is also focusing on interlinking rivers to address water scarcity and support agricultural activities. The Krishna, Penna, and Vamsadhara rivers are set to be connected through a series of canals and reservoirs, benefiting drought-prone areas.
