Amaravati to Get Iconic Bridge on N13 Road

Amaravati is set to gain a new iconic bridge on the N13 road near the E1 junction, according to Amaravati Capital Updates. The government has issued tenders to hire a consultant for the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the bridge.

The decision to construct the bridge on the N13 road follows a reconsideration of an earlier plan for a bridge on the N10 road near Ibrahimpatnam. This change was prompted by the completion of the Vijayawada West Bypass.

The N13 road project, stretching 8.9 km from Rayapudi to Sakhamuru, is currently being undertaken by RVR Constructions at a cost of ₹254.10 crores.

Concurrently, the E1 road, which spans 4.4 km connecting Lingayapalem to Dondapadu, is under construction by BSR Constructions with an investment of ₹157.47 crores.

The planned iconic bridge will be 5.2 km long, originating near Mulapadu and Kilasapuram villages. It will ultimately connect to the capital area near Rayapudi and Abbhurajupalem.

The deadline for submitting tenders for the DPR consultancy is set for the 21st of this month.

Previously, L&T had designed an iconic bridge for the N10 road, estimated to cost ₹1387 crores. However, this project was halted following a change in government.
