Growth and Development

AIIMS Mangalagiri started in 2018 at a temporary campus in Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. By March 2019, it began providing Outpatient Department (OPD) services at its permanent campus in Mangalagiri, Guntur. Over time, the institution has expanded its services, providing quality healthcare to a growing number of patients.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, AIIMS Mangalagiri quickly adjusted to the situation, offering eParamarsh servicesfor doorstep sample collection and limited inpatient services for COVID-19 patients in 2020. In 2021, the hospital resumed and expanded its inpatient services for other patients.

Education at AIIMS Mangalagiri

The first MBBS batches started in 2018 and 2019, with 50 students each, attending the temporary campus. The 2020 MBBS batch, with 125 students, was the first to begin their education at the permanent Mangalagiri campus.

The institution focuses on delivering high-quality medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. AIIMS Mangalagiri aims to prepare students to meet the demands of the healthcare industry by providing a strong foundation in medical knowledge and practical skills.
